1)      What type of insurance do you have? Is this insurance included in your quote?

Carriers have a minimum of $50.000 and we never charge any extra for your vehicle to be insured. We also do a complimentary vehicle inspection both upon pickup and delivery.

2)      How do I know my vehicle will really stay on one truck the whole time? Some companies have quoted me $50 to $100 less than you and say it stays on one truck too.

Once your vehicle is picked up you can call or email our customer service department to check the status of your vehicle shipment.

3)       How long will it take you to deliver my car?

The answer to this question depends on the route in which you are moving. Most coast-to-coast routes take 5 to 7 days whereas moves halfway across the country take 2 to 3 days.

4)       Is this the best price you can give me? Why?

We offer various discounts for senior citizens, active and retired military members, students, and multiple-car discounts. You will notice that rates change from company to company. Since 1Shot Express is a network carrier, we better understand what it takes to move a vehicle along a route. Most companies that will contact you do not have a network of trucks and drivers so they will give you an estimate of what they think it will cost to move a vehicle, but often times they quote too low and the car doesn’t get picked up.

5)      Do I have to be there at the pickup and delivery locations?

1Shot Express’s drivers need someone to be at both the pickup and drop-off locations, but it does not need to be the vehicle owner. You may leave your automobile with someone else and have it taken another person as long as the person present is over 18 years of age.

6)      How will I know when the driver is coming to pickup or deliver my vehicle?

1Shot Express’s driver will call you at least 3 to 6 hours in advance to give you a firm pickup window; the same protocol that will be followed when it is time to deliver. If for some reason you won’t be available during the window our driver provides and you cannot have someone else there in your place, you can request that the driver come at a more convenient time.

7)       Can you guarantee a pickup/delivery date and time?

Pickup dates and times may be guaranteed in some cases considering some conveniences. There are a lot of things that no one can control. For example, the driver calls you the night before and gives you a window that you can expect him the next day. But en route to your home there is a major traffic jam that delays him two hours. He had no idea when he gave you that window that there would be a traffic jam the next day. It is impossible for anyone to guarantee exactly when they will be somewhere no matter how much they would like to.

8)       How long is your quoted price good for?

In no industry do prices expire. 1Shot Express’s rates stay the same until something changed industry-wide and we are forced to raise or lower our prices.

9)       How much notice do you need in order to pickup my vehicle?

Traditionally 1Shot Express only needs 5 to 7 days’ notice to get a vehicle moved, but sometimes we need little more time if your move is along a tricky route.

10)     Where do I have to drop my vehicle off? Where will I have to pick it up?

The answer to both of these questions is nowhere. 1Shot Express specializes in door-to-door pickup and deliveries. You do not need to take your vehicle to a terminal or pick it up from.
